This former early 1900’s carriage house was reborn with a complete kitchen renovation and addition of a spacious master ensuite.
With the property surrounded by manicured gardens, the views from the spaces are as important as the function and aesthetics of the spaces themselves. The formerly boxed in kitchen is now awash with light from both a retracting glazed wall that opens, and a new peek-a-boo window facing east onto a zen garden.
Upstairs a completely new master ensuite was created by altering and extending the roofline. In contrast to the more traditional details present in the older areas of the carriage house, the master ensuite becomes a clean modern personal spa in the treetops.
